Importance of a second language

The Mouse family are all sitting quietly watching TV. Suddenly the mean cat appears.
Father Mouse jumps up and barks like a Rottweiler. The cat runs like hell.
"See!", says Father Mouse, "That is why it is so important to have a 2nd language!"
