Teaching English abroad is fantastic way to see the world, while getting paid to do so! If you are looking for a well paid job teaching English abroad here is a list of the top TEFL destinations for pay.
Teaching English in Saudi Arabia
The Middle East is where you will find some of the best paid TEFL jobs. For teaching English in Saudi
Arabia you can earn between $2,700 and $4,000 per month depending on your qualifications. Native English TEFL teachers may be attracted to the lucrative pay and benefits but be aware that teaching English in Saudi Arabia is not for the faint hearted and doesn’t suit everyone. If you do decide to teach English in Saudi Arabia the high salaries will give you an excellent opportunity to save some money while you teach. Teachers are exceptionally well treated and you will also be able to take advantage of the perks offered with the job such as paid airfare, visas and accommodation. To teach English in Saudi Arabia you need a good BA degree and one of our recommended TEFL courses, such as the 120-hour TEFL Course.
Teaching English in South Korea

You can earn up to 2,100,000 won per month which is a lot higher than the average for TEFL teachers in South East Asia. You’ll also benefit from free accommodation and other perks. You are also required to have a university degree and your salary may vary depending on what experience you have. Teaching English in Czech Republic
Teaching English in the Czech Republic is a great way to embark on your TEFL career. You
only need to take our basic TEFL weekend course to get started. As long as you are TEFL qualified you won’t need to have degree to teach here. You will be paid a salary of 22,000 - 36,000 Krone (£785 - £1285) per month. With it’s amazing scenery, high demand for TEFL teachers and good salary the Czcech Republic can seem like any TEFL teachers dream location.
Teaching English in China
There are more people learning English in China than speak it in America, which means the demand
for qualified TEFL teachers is astronomical. To teach English in China you will need a university degree to obtain the correct working visa and you will also need to take one of our recommended accredited TEFL courses. The general monthly salary for most ordinary native English speaking teachers start from RMB4,500 but can rise in the private sector to well over double that. As well as a competitive salary teaching English in China commands other benefits such as free accommodation, visa sponsorship and sometimes airfare.
