Working with classmates

If you’re returning to study after a break, you may have some nerves about the support you’re going to get on your TEFL Scotland course. There’s no need to panic - not only will you have access to one of our expert tutors, who will be able to answer any questions about TEFL teaching and the course content, you’ll also have the backing of your classmates.
Our weekend classroom courses mean that you’ll be spending the majority of your study time with people who are in exactly your position - they want to become a TEFL teacher. Building friendships and networks with other brand-new TEFL teachers means you’ll be able to discuss any issues you may face - and you may even find a travel companion for when you get your first TEFL teaching job.
“I met some amazing people,” says ex-student Jamie. Recent graduate Yoshiko adds: “One of the things I liked best was being able to interact so much with the others on the course.”
And you’ll still be able to talk to other students if you opt for an online-only TEFL Scotland course - our discussion forums mean you can easily get in touch and share thoughts and ideas.
“There was great support when required and great tips in the news forum,” confirms Karl, who’s just completed an online course. Classmate Ian agrees: “There is a community spirit present throughout the whole course, both between the tutor and the student and between the students themselves on the forum.”
So if you want to go back to study and make new friends as well as gain a new qualification, get in touch now for your free information pack!
