Located in the Songnen Plain, Daqing is approximately 136 kms northwest of Hei Longjiang’s provincial capital, Harbin, in the north east of China. Daqing is a beautiful modern oil city that has an population of 1.38 million. Over the years, Daqing has become an irresistible tourist attraction. With its unique tourist resources, a vast primitive land, hundreds of lakes, wetlands, a wonderful grassland landscape, Daqing enjoys a reputation of being the ‘City of a Hundred Lakes’ in northern China and the city’s green spaces cover 33.1% of the city’s area.
The city of Daqing has also received awards in acknowledgement of its progress. Daqing is ranked first among inland cities as a “National Model City for Environmental Protection” and was awarded the “National Excellent City for Tourism”. Other awards to Daqing are the title of “China Residential Environment Example Prize” and the UN “Dubai Improvement of Residential Environment Example Prize”.

What do these TEFL positions in China entail?

The school was established in 2001 as offers a selection of courses for all age groups: early learners (4-6), young learners (7-10), teenagers (11-14) and adults (15+). We also have a partnership with a local leading middle school and teachers will have a few off-site classes.
