About Wuhan

Wuhan is a fascinating and large city in the central area of China which in some way feels less modernized compared to China’s coastal cities or Shanghai, but it is one of China’s main high-tech, education and financial centers.
Wuhan is the 10th largest city in China and it is very interesting for tourists because of the countless scenic spots and the big Yangtze River. The people are very friendly to foreigners. Prices for meals and transportation are surprisingly low, transportation around the city is convenient, and it is an interesting place to live and teach or start a tour of the Yangtze River basin.
This city has a certain charm about it. The people are unusual friendly compared to those in other cities. And if you have the time for a cruise, you might really enjoy going up the Yangtze on a cruise liner!
Wuhan is nicknamed ‘The Cauldron’ as summer temperatures are some of the highest in China!

What do these TEFL positions in China entail?

The school offers a selection of courses for all age groups: early learners (4-6), young learners (7-10), teenagers (11-14) and adults (15+). There is usually the possibility, if it's your thing, to get the chance to teach English for special purposes, such as exam prep, IELTS, Business English, etc).
