Exciting Tamil Nadu in southern India is the land of tigers and temples!  Home to national parks with exotic wildlife as well as stunning ancient architecture, Tamil Nadu has a relaxed atmosphere where you can soak up real Indian culture and, of course, be tantalised by the spicy cuisine!

What do these TEFL positions in India entail?

In these TEFL volunteering positions, you would be based at a Spoken English Centre run by a charitable trust in Tuticorn, a small town in Tamil Nadu. The Centre has successfully hosted many foreign volunteers in the past, enabling them to gain a practical knowledge of Indian education and culture. The students with whom you would be working are aged mostly 10-23, with some adults in work and housewives also attending classes. Class hours would be between 9.30am and 6.30pm, Monday to Friday, allowing you to spend your weekends travelling and experiencing the local area and beyond.
