Why do we provide our certificates through NCFE?
We take pride in offering more accreditation than any other UK TEFL provider. In furthering our partnership with NCFE, we offer our students a unique service – an independently assessed NCFE certificate at no extra charge. No other TEFL provider in the UK offers this service and along with our other accreditation from the ODLQC and SQA, our certificates are highly valued by employers worldwide.
After you enrol on the course, we provide you with FREE lifetime access to the TEFL Jobs Centre, which is full of employers who actively recruit our high calibre graduates because of our recognised accreditation.
Your certificate
When you finish your TEFL Scotland course, you will receive a certificate of achievement from NCFE. Many TEFL providers charge for this service, but if you take an official TEFL Scotland course, you get an NCFE certificate included in your course fee. This certificate will only be provided when you have completed the whole course as purchased e.g if you enrol on a 120-hour course, you must complete all the components before you will be issued with your certificate.
When will I receive my certificate?
You must fill in your feedback after completing your course. Once you have completed the online feedback form, we will request your certificate from NCFE. You should receive it within 2 working weeks.
Certificate copies
If you lose your NCFE certificate, you must request a copy directly from NCFE. Apply directly here: replacement application.
If you want TEFL Scotland certificates for the component parts of the course, there is a £10 charge per certificate in the UK and £15 for overseas students. Although employers will be happy to accept the NCFE certificate, some students request extra certificates for component parts if they want to apply for a job before you have completed all components.
