Local attractions
Dumfries has many associations with Scotland's historic past but at the same time is a modern town with all the high street facilities you would expect. It lives up to its nickname 'Queen of the South' with its lovely location on the banks of the River Nith. While in Dumfries why not play a round of golf or visit the fascinating Dumfries Museum.
