TEFL Jobs in China - Wuhan
Requirements:
- University degree from a UK university
- 20-hour TEFL Scotland certificate
- UK citizen and native English speaker
TEFL Scotland is currently recruiting qualified English teachers to teach English in China.

These TEFL jobs in China are based in the city of Wuhan, a modern metropolis and capital of the Hubei province. As an important transport hub, it is the perfect place to live and work if you are keen to travel around China during your stay in this vast country. As well as being a centre of finance and science, it is also a “Chinese Famous City of History and Culture” with a heritage that dates back to ancient times. The Hankou area, the city’s commercial centre, also offers great shopping opportunities.
Working at a learning centre, you would be teaching English to young children aged 2-10 years old. The centre normally opens Wednesday to Saturday, with two days off per week. This position offers excellent benefits, including free accommodation, as well as a particularly good salary meaning you may even have the opportunity to save up while you are there.
Teaching English in China
Contract length: 2 years, but with 1 year break clause.
Hours: 40 per week (28 teaching)
Salary: 8000 RMB per month
Holidays: Christmas, Chinese New Year, all public holidays
Accommodation: Provided free
Other benefits: Visa assistance, medical insurance, flights provided on completion of 1 year contract
