We are currently recruiting for TEFL jobs in Hong Kong.
Hong Kong is one of the world's major financial centres, complete with stunning architecture and an enviable public transport system. As such, it has all the amenities you could hope for, as well as offering a great taste of Asian culture. A bustling international city, it is also surrounded by beautiful hills and mountains, perfect for a rural escape on weekends.
In these TEFL jobs in Hong Kong, you would be teaching English in primary schools and kindergartens. Working with younger children, you will be using activities, songs and games, so enthusiasm is very important! This is a great opportunity for anybody keen to work with children to experience a fascinating city and culture.
Teaching in Hong Kong: Primary schools and kindergartens
Overview
Salary: $12,000 HKD basic wage (approximately £970) per month, optional private tutoring is available for extra money.
Contract Duration: 11 months
Bonus: Work related bonus scheme each term
Housing: accommodation subsidy of $5000 HKD (£400) per month
Airfare: Remuneration of flights up to $5000 HKD (£400)
Health Insurance: Not included
Holiday: 6 weeks paid holiday with a travel allowance of $3000 HKD (£250)
Working/teaching hours: 25 teaching hours per week
Throughout your time at the schools you will receive a UK Teacher Support Network helpline and training for the school curriculum. On arrival you will be given a travel itinerary and welcome pack. Visa sponsorship is included.
