TEFL Scotland is currently recruiting qualified English teachers for TEFL jobs in Poland.
Poland is an increasingly popular destination for TEFL, as English becomes a necessary skill for Poles wishing to pursue business careers. It’s not just the availability of TEFL jobs in Poland that draws qualified English teachers to the country however. Poland has plenty to offer with moving history, great travel opportunities, cool cosmopolitan culture and warm hospitality. The cost of living in Poland is much cheaper than in the UK, meaning the competitive salary offered is more than enough to live comfortably and enjoy travelling, shopping and the Polish nightlife. With its recent EU entry, Poland is at an exciting stage in its development and these positions offer you the chance to be at the heart of that.
These TEFL jobs in Poland are situated in the city of Rybnik in southern Poland, close to the border with the Czech Republic. Rybnik offers plenty of amenities and sights to enjoy while still being “off the beaten track” of tourist centres, allowing you to experience the real Poland. It is considered a “green city” due to its cleanliness and environmental focus in comparison to more industrial areas nearby. See great neo-classical and neo-gothic architecture while relaxing at local cafes, or try something more exciting at the folklore festival. If you feel adventurous, head to the Beskidy Mountains for skiing, or use Rybnik’s location as a base to explore the delights of central Europe. Krakow is only an hour and a half away, and Warsaw, Prague, Vienna, Budapest and Bratislava are all within a few hours drive!
You would be working at a language school operated and staffed completely by native English speakers. Most students are adults learning business English and general English for personal purposes. This is a school that prides itself on the high standards produced by a happy working environment and the terms of this position reflect that attitude. The school will arrange a guaranteed minimum weekly workload, so you will always have a regular salary to depend on. Lots of help is available, both to settle in and with any day to day issues. The benefits package on over is truly exceptional for TEFL jobs in Europe, making this an excellent opportunity to work in a very desirable country. The school is looking for a confident native speaker, interested in developing as an English teacher, to fit into their diverse and youthful team of friendly staff. Non-EU citizens are welcome to apply, providing they are native English speakers.
