Requirements:

50-hour TEFL Scotland Certificate (Basic+Grammar)
Native English speaker
Degree, ideally in an arts and humanities subject

With shopping, food and cultural events comparable to anywhere else in Europe, Slovakia can offer all of the comforts of home while letting you experience an exciting culture and beautiful scenery. Located right in the centre of Europe, staying in Slovakia would afford you the chance to travel, with Vienna, Prague and Budapest within easy reach. A growing economy with a low cost of living, it is an attractive destination for those looking to work in TEFL.

Working at an private language school accredited by the Slovakian Ministry of Education, you would be teaching English while also increasing your students awareness of British culture. With a large international staff of English teachers, this school offers a variety of different English courses including conversation classes, children’s day camps and school exam preparation. Much of the teaching will be to the staff of major corporate clients and class sizes are small, with 4-12 students in each lesson. These TEFL jobs offer an excellent salary in Slovakia, as well as benefits such as free accommodation, giving you an excellent chance to experience this wonderful central European nation.

Teaching English in Slovakia

Salary: 400 euros per month after tax
Accommodation: Free accommodation provided
Holidays: Paid vacation in addition to public holidays
Other benefits: Medical insurance, airport pick up, full assistance with necessary relocation paperwork
