TEFL Scotland is recruiting qualified English teachers for TEFL jobs in Vietnam.
Jobs are available in the cities of Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City.
Ha Noi is the capital and second largest city in Vietnam, situated on the Red River. The city is a major hub for culture and education with a long history, from ancient dynasties through Western influence (from its days as the capital of French Indochina), to its present place as one of the fastest growing cities in the world. There are many cultural and historical sights to visit, including hundreds of impressive temples and pagodas, plus artisans, night markets and street food to try in the Old Quarter. You can entertain yourself with everything from modern shopping to traditional water puppetry. Known as the “City of Lakes”, Ha Noi also offers much natural beauty to take in – try having a meal on a floating restaurant on West Lake!
Ho Chi Minh City is the largest city in Vietnam and home to over 7 million people. The city has a fascinating history arising from its settlement by many different ethnic, cultural and political groups. The evidence of the city’s Western influenced past can still be seen in its elegant French colonial architecture. Ho Chi Minh City has a tropical climate, where even in the middle of December the temperatures will likely stay above 20 degrees Celsius! The city is the economic centre of Vietnam and home to industries from seafood to software development. However you like to entertain yourself, Ho Chi Minh City has museums, botanic gardens, cinemas, sports stadiums and much more to suit you.
These TEFL jobs in Vietnam involve working as a Cambridge curriculum distributor to state school system, delivering an internationally recognised curriculum to children and teenagers. You would be teaching English in primary and secondary schools to classes of no more than 30 students. As these positions involve working in a traditional school setting, teaching will be 5 days over Monday – Friday (some Saturday work may be required on occasion).
Lunch is provided, as is transport between the head office where you will handle lesson planning and preparation and schools. An excellent starting salary is offered, and salaries and benefits are all assessed quarterly. Initial visas should be arranged by the teacher, however schools will organise work permits after your probation period.

Contract: 12 months
Salary: Starting at $20 US per hour
Benefits: Work permit, lunch during working hours and transport between school and office.
