TEFL Scotland is recruiting qualified English teachers for TEFL jobs in Vietnam.
These jobs are based in Hai Phong in northern Vietnam, the country’s third largest city based on the east coast. There is plenty to do in Hai Phong, whether it is trying your luck at the local casino (one of very few in Vietnam), sampling the locally made beer or visiting the stunning Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site made up of almost two thousand scenic limestone karst islands and a must see for visitors to Vietnam.
These TEFL jobs in Vietnam involve working at an ESL college teaching English to children, teenagers and adults. You would be working split shifts during a 6 day week and this would average out to around 64 hours per month. If your teaching time does not reach the full 64 hours, you will still be paid for the full 64 hours (outside of the Lunar New Year holiday period). Class sizes are a maximum of 25 students per lesson.
Accommodation is provided for you in this position. If you would prefer to source your own accommodation, an allowance will be given to cover an equivalent amount instead. Your domestic airfare will also be reimbursed after your probation period. Initial visas for these positions should be arranged by the teacher. The school will arrange work permits for teachers on 12 month contracts. Plus, if you commit to a 12 month contract, you will receive end of contract and public holiday bonuses.
